When Pia confronts Stefan in the dating show My mother, your father there will be strong feelings.
Pia breaks down in tears when she doesn’t get the confirmation she’s looking for from Stefan:
– How the hell do you go about dating?
IN My mother, your father dating single parents together in the “Love Villa”, while being secretly watched by their children. Stefan has been popular with several of the women. He has clicked extra with Jessica, which makes Pia confront him.
Pia and Stefan have previously talked about their interest in each other. She wants to find out if it’s worth it for them to explore their interest further, or if he just wants to focus on Jessica now.
– I am brutally honest, she begins and continues:
– You don’t want to come in and disturb between you and Jessica.
Stefan cannot give a straight answer
Stefan replies that their date was super cozy and that Pia is warm-hearted, but he reveals to the cameras that things still don’t really click between them.
– There is a lack of chemistry anyway.
But in front of Pia, he doesn’t want to give a straight answer. Then Pia understands that he is not as interested in her as she is in him. His desire makes her break down in tears.
– I don’t think I’ll find love the way it looks in here right now. How the hell do you go about dating?
Pia’s son roars at Stefan
The children follow the emotional conversation in real time on a television screen. Stefan’s daughter Elin thinks it’s sad that things didn’t click between Pia and Stefan.
– My father has a hard time hurting and choosing. There are many people in the house that he is interested in, she says.
Pia’s son Christer roars at Stefan’s behaviour.
– Stefan grab you by the collar, don’t be such a fucking chicken, he says and elaborates on his thoughts:
– Right now it feels like Stefan doesn’t suit my mother. My mother wants a man who knows what he wants. Not someone who goes a bit half-heartedly on someone.
Even Stefan agrees that he should be clearer about his feelings.
– It has been very busy. I haven’t dared to say yes or no when I should.
