Three different weapons were used when fire was opened at the rest area in Norsborg in the summer of 2020.
Accidentally met Adriana, 12.
Today, the verdict is handed down after the high-profile murder.

The background is a bloody conflict between the “May” network and Vårby, south of Stockholm.

On the night of August 2, 2020, fire was opened from a white Audi at a gas station in Norsborg. The target was two gang criminals and two automatic weapons and a revolver were used. Both managed to escape the rain of bullets – but instead twelve-year-old Adriana was hit, who was out with her dog.

Another five people, in addition to the two targets, were at the scene at the time and became plaintiffs for attempted murder as, according to the prosecutor, they were close to being hit by the shots.

The girl’s death provoked strong reactions and has become a symbol of ruthless gang violence.

A total of six men have been charged in the large gang case. Three of them were put on trial on suspicion of murdering the twelve-year-old girl.

Today, at 11 a.m., the Södertörn district court announces its verdict.

The 31-year-old

Began his criminal career as a teenager in the Stockholm suburb of Vårby, was forcibly taken into custody and placed in a HVB home. Has since been convicted of several serious crimes. He has for several years been part of a bloody gang war with the Vårby network and now leads the May network himself. The man has also been linked to a criminal network in Västerås for several years and has been called the Västerås Torpeden in the media

The 31-year-old has been subjected to several murder attempts by the Vårby network, which is considered to be the motive for why he sat in a car and shot at a group of men at the place where Adriana was instead hit by the shots. Since May 2021, he is serving a four-year prison sentence for aggravated weapons crime and aggravated unlawful threat in Västerås.

In July 2021, the 31-year-old was also sentenced to one year in prison for a serious drug crime, a crime committed together with the Södertälje network. In September 2021, he was again convicted of serious weapons offences. This for having handled the weapon Adriana was killed with in a music video. The Court of Appeal increased the district court’s sentence from one year to 2.5 years in prison.

The 24-year-old

In the police investigation and chats that the investigators have come across, he is referred to as one of the 31-year-old’s “boys”. He has been singled out as a running boy in Stockholm and Malmö’s gang war.

In 2019, he was acquitted in another trial about a gang murder of an 18-year-old man in Malmö, but was convicted of serious weapons offences. The man has posed with guns in rap videos. Since early July 2020, he has been in custody on suspicion of Adriana’s murder.

The 32-year-old

Has previously been convicted of both serious assault and drug smuggling before he robbed a bank in the small town of Kil in Värmland as a 21-year-old.

In 2016, he was sentenced to just over two years in prison for serious weapons crime in Örebro. He has been in custody since the beginning of December 2021 for the murder of Adriana.
