The last month has been characterized by a major conflict in the party leadership for the Christian Democrats. When Sara Skyttedal, 36, reported colleague Johan Ingerö to the police for sexual harassment – ​​an incident that allegedly occurred in 2014 – all hell broke loose. The preliminary investigation was dropped, but Ingerö left her post.

In the aftermath, the 36-year-old felt badly treated by KD. In addition to the incident with Ingerö, party leader Ebba Busch, among others, came out and criticized Skyttedal’s statement about his cannabis use.

Now the EU parliamentarian opens up about the crisis.

– It has been one of the worst months of my life, it has been really tough, she says to TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.
