Edin’s team has looked unstoppable in the World Cup with eleven consecutive victories. Now awaits the World Cup final for the Swedes in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
For a long time it looked like it would be even in the semi-final against Italy. Niklas Edin sent away the last stone of the round which was perfect, and secured a full three points for Sweden who stepped up to a 5–1 lead.
Last year, Lag Edin, who had four straight WC gold medals, already went out in the quarter-finals against Canada. But tomorrow the Swedes can take revenge. In the final, it is Canada that awaits, who won overwhelmingly 9–4 in the other semi-final.
