  • Sweden is proposed to lead NATO forces in Finland

    Finland wants Sweden to lead a NATO force in northern Finland. The Swedish government is positive, but no decision has been made. This was announced by Sweden’s Minister of Defense Pål Jonson (M) and his Finnish colleague Antti Häkkänen at a press conference today.

    It is about a forward-based ground force that within NATO is called FLF (Forward Land Forces), which Sweden is therefore proposed to lead.

  • Train evacuates after grass fire alert

    Around 90 passengers on the Öresund train are to be evacuated, reports say P4 Blekinge.
