Sweden deported! Momika, the provocateur of burning the Holy Quran, went to Norway

Sweden deported Momika the provocateur of burning the Holy Quran

Salwan Momika, the Quran burning provocateur whose deportation decision was approved by the Swedish Immigration Appeals Court, went to Norway to seek asylum.

The Immigration Office announced in October 2023 that Momika had a work and residence permit until April 16, 2024, and that she would be deported after this date. Momika appealed the decision and took the case to the Immigration Court.

The Immigration Court also announced that Momika had provided incorrect information regarding her residence permit application and therefore approved the Immigration Office’s deportation decision. Momika later appealed the decision to the Court of Appeal.

PROVOCATIONS AGAINST THE QURAN

Salwan Momika set the Holy Quran on fire under police protection in front of the Stockholm Mosque on June 28, which coincided with the first day of Eid al-Adha in the capital Stockholm.

Momika trampled the Quran and the Iraqi flag under police protection in front of the Iraqi Embassy in Stockholm on July 20, and in front of the Swedish Parliament on July 31 and 14. Momika burned the Quran again in front of the Stockholm Mosque on August 24.

Protests were held in the city of Malmö on September 3, when Momika burned the Quran under police protection and 15 people who tried to prevent her were detained.

Momika last held a support rally for Israel in the center of Stockholm on October 21, burning the Quran and the Palestinian flag.

On December 7, 2023, the Danish Parliament adopted the bill making it illegal to burn holy books and attack these books. (AA)This content was published by Metin Yamaner
