    Sweden wants to buy military transport planes from Brazil – and Brazil wants to buy more Jas Gripen planes from Sweden.

    On Saturday, a declaration of intent was signed in Brazil between the countries’ defense ministers Pål Jonson (M) and José Múcio in Natal. Negotiations are now underway between the parties concerned.

    – It is clear that it is about billions of dollars, but I do not want to preempt the upcoming negotiations. Of course, there are still some steps to be taken, but important progress has been made today. There is a broad consensus from the Brazilian side and the Swedish side, says Jonson to TT.
