The accident occurred at Lake Garda on Tuesday. The man is said to have missed the landing area and instead landed on a bike path along the lake. He was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter, but his life could not be saved. The Foreign Ministry confirms the death to TV4 Nyheterna. The man’s relatives have been notified.
