After a gray and cool weekend, a few days of summer heat await. Tuesday can be a good day for beach hangouts and ice cream. After that, it looks like there will be some showers across the country.
On Monday, it is expected to be between 20-25 degrees in southern Sweden and 15-20 degrees in the north, says Therese Fougman who is a meteorologist at SMHI.
– It looks like there will be rain showers in some places, especially in the eastern landscapes.
If the showers do not move that much, the rain can be perceived as persistent, says Fougman. In the western parts of the country, there is expected to be a break on Monday.
On Tuesday, it looks like it will be sunny all over the country. The forecast shows temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees, except in the mountains where it will be cooler.
– Then it looks like we have a high-pressure ridge that passes the country. It will be intermittent weather and a bit of light clouds.
Thereafter, the risk of rain increases.
– It will probably be a bit like that every other day weather the second half of the week, as it looks, with rain showers a bit here and there.
The average temperature is expected to be at normal levels in the coming days.
– It is locally in the mountain range that it is below normal, at the same time as it in Tornedalen seems to be a little over.
