SVT/Verian: Even between the blocks when voters rate

A new budget is on the table, the Social Democrats’ lottery has been reviewed and the investigation into how the new establishment of nuclear power is to be financed has been presented.

In light of this, SVT/Verian’s latest survey shows that 45 percent of voters think the government is doing a good job. A decrease of 3 percentage points in comparison with the previous measurement, a change that is not statistically secure, however.

– During the first half of the year, the rating for the government’s work clearly increased, a trend that has now been broken. It does not seem that the autumn budget and the subsequent debate have strengthened the voters’ view of the government’s work, says Per Söderpalm, opinion manager at Verian.

Fewer give bad grades to S despite lottery review

The opposition remains at the same levels as before – 48 percent believe they had done a good job as a government. One difference from the last survey is that there are fewer and fewer who believe that they had done a worse job than the government. 42 percent believe that a Social Democrat-led government had managed its work poorly as a government, in contrast to the June survey where that figure was 47 percent. A statistically guaranteed change.

– It is worth noting that the rating of the opposition as a government alternative has not weakened despite the extensive criticism of the Social Democrats’ lotteries. Rather, the opposition is strengthening its position somewhat compared to June, says Per Söderpalm.
