SVT profile Lotta Bouvin-Sundberg dead

Lotta Bouvin-Sundberg died on Monday after a short illness. She worked at SVT for 30 years after joining the public service company in 1993 to host the morning broadcasts.

Over the years, she hosted many news programs, but also hosted major extra broadcasts, election programs and broadcasts in connection with the Nobel Prize ceremony.

“Lotta Bouvin-Sundberg was a safe and wise anchor, both in the editorial office and in the box. She had great breadth as a presenter, sharp interrogations were as obvious as warm and sympathetic interviews. We mourn a brave and caring colleague, tirelessly passionate about her profession and journalism”, says SVT CEO Hanna Stjärne in a comment to SVT Nyheter.

Lotta Bouvin was born in Jämtland and began her journalistic career on local radio. She also worked for a time in TT’s radio editorial office.
