Since the old ATP system was abolished and a new pension system was introduced in the 1990s, representatives of the Social Democrats, the Moderates, the Center Party, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals have sat in the pension group.
The Sweden Democrats, the Green Party and the Left Party have all wanted to have greater influence over Swedes’ pensions. Now the government has decided to invite the parties to the working group, SVT learns. How the parties stand on this is currently unclear, but SD has previously stated for Echo that SD is prepared to accept the conditions that exist to join the group.
