It is the first time that SVT has a permanent crew in the Småland highlands. When the newsroom in Eksjö now opens, at the same time as Rosengård in Malmö, SVT will now be in 50 locations around Sweden.

Opening later
The editorial staff is staffed with a reporter, but who will receive continued support from the main editorial office in Jönköping.
The formal opening of the Eksjö editorial office takes place in mid-November.
