Kriminella’s recruitment of children is increasingly done digitally. But how does the recruitment process work? And what instructions do the children receive?
To investigate it, SVT entered several groups in an encrypted app. The groups function as a black market where, among other things, drugs, weapons, counterfeit notes and stolen goods are sold openly. “Looking for 357 shots in Gothenburg”, writes one user. “Blow up houses in Stockholm 15k,” writes another.
In September, SVT created an account as a 14-year-old boy and wrote: “I’m looking for a job”.
A short while later the phone rang.
