SVT will broadcast Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on Monday, September 19, the channel writes in a press release. At 10.30 the broadcast starts with Anna Hedenmo as presenter. At 12 o’clock the funeral itself begins, which is commented by Ann-Britt Ryd Pettersson and court expert Roger Lundgren.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, aged 96. She had then been on the throne for over 70 years, although the official coronation did not take place until June 1953.
