Suzuki, which we have been waiting for a concrete step on the electricity side for a while, will meet the expectations in this field with its EVX project, which will be of a global nature.
The electrification process, which almost every brand in the automotive world inevitably centers on, has yielded many fruits in the last few years, both in concept and mass production form. Brands that have created and continue to create an ambitious product range in a short time already want to get ahead of the competition. Suzuki, which we have been waiting for a while in this transition process, where Japan-based names approached relatively calmly and gradually, finally took the expected step with 2023. The “EVX” concept, which was put on the stage as part of the Auto Expo held in India, where it has the largest market share, is the future display of the brand in this field.
First technical data for Suzuki EVX also shared
Suzuki EVX, which is on the stage with its concept form for now, also differs from all current models of the brand with its design dynamics. In a sense, the first data that might attract attention were shared by official sources about the project, which also represents the design approach of the new era. If there is no change, two different battery packs are planned for the EVX, which is planned to be moved to mass production in 2025. At the entry level, we are faced with the claim of 400 kilometers of range on a package with a capacity of 48 kWh. The larger battery with a capacity of 60 kWh, which will come with a higher version, will increase the range value up to 550 kilometers.

Dimensions on the concept of the model are also on the table. According to the shared information; 4,300 length, 1,800 millimeters width, 1,600 millimeters height values are waiting for us. The most striking point in this section will be the wheelbase of 2,700 millimeters. This means that despite being a compact SUV, a very generous living space awaits us inside. The model, which will be put into production on an infrastructure arising from the partnership with Toyota, will be Suzuki’s global electric SUV model, including Turkey.
