(Finance) – The “Designing the future”the artistic contest of Snam who wants to involve illustrators and graphic designers, even non-professionals, to give artistic and figurative form to the path of energy transition undertaken by the company towards a future sustainable, safe and inclusive.
The contest It is aimed at illustration enthusiasts and professionals, adults and residents in Italy, who know how to graphically interpret Snam’s vision of the future, with the aim of telling, through a universal and evocative language such as that of illustration, the Snam’s role in the energy transition process at the service of the country.
Snam – explains the note – carries with it a historical legacy And cultural that identifies with the country’s industrial heritage. With over 80 years of history, it has contributed to the development of the Italian energy system, creating infrastructures that have enabled economic and social growth and that today, through continuous innovation, enable both energy security and the path towards the goal of net zero emissions. Snam transports, stores and regulates energy flows. Today it is mostly natural gas, but it is ready to do the same for other green molecules, such as biomethane and, in the future, hydrogen. It receives these molecules from those who produce them and brings them to the threshold of cities and industries. Working for the Today’s security, however, wants to make possible a future in which energy is accessible to all and does not damage the environment.
“Designing the future”, in this sense, it represents an invitation to look to tomorrow with creative and visionary eyes, with the common goal of taking part in the transition path to a zero-emission economy where energy, and its networks in particular, increasingly become an element of union, connection and economic and social well-being. The central theme of the contest is in line with Snam’s ambition “Energy infrastructures for a sustainable future”announced during the presentation of the 2023-2027 strategic plan.
