For the family, the lack of care is directly involved: the elderly lady would simply not have been fed for several days, according to her. A complaint is filed when the patient dies. The family of the deceased accuses health professionals of abuse.
An intervention postponed several times
According to the family complaint, the old lady had been taken care of by the CHU for a simple fracture of the fibula. His intervention was to take place on an empty stomach, but would have been postponed several times, because of its “non-priority” nature.
Still according to the words of the relatives of the victim, the latter would not have seen the shadow of a single meal tray for several days, before falling into a coma and then dying on August 31.
