Schalkwijk – Track cyclist Jan-Willem van Schip is not allowed to compete in competitions from December 27 to February 1. The international cycling union imposed this penalty on the Schalkwijker because of the “indecent and very expressive gestures” after he was removed from the race by the jury during the World Championships in Ballerup, Denmark.
