The security police are investigating the incident where a dangerous object, which is said to have been a hand grenade, was placed outside the Israeli embassy in Stockholm as an act of terrorism.
Säpo states this on its website, something GP first reported.
The investigation has been taken over by Säpo under the direction of prosecutors at the national unit for security cases. The crime classification is terrorist crime through grossly illegal threats and attempts to cause public destruction.
It was on January 31 that the dangerous object was found outside the Israeli embassy.
