A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance after being shot in Gothenburg.
A large police operation is underway in the area, but no one has been arrested.
– It is intensive work with a lot of staff, says police spokesperson Jens Andersson.
Shortly after 7 p.m., several people raised the alarm about a suspicious shooting in Bagaregården in Gothenburg.
At the scene, the police were able to determine that a person had been shot.
– The person has been taken to hospital by ambulance, says Jens Andersson.
White car being chased
The crime scene has been cordoned off and, according to the police, an “intensive search operation” is underway for the suspected perpetrator(s).
– We have set up roadblocks and conduct interrogations and door knocking, says Jens Andersson.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the police are chasing a white car.
