During the night to Wednesday, loud bangs were heard in central Jönköping.
At the scene, the police found traces of a suspected shooting.
– We have technicians on site, says Torbjörn Lindqvist, duty officer at the police.
Just before two o’clock last night, the police were called to Östra Torget in central Jönköping.
– We received a number of calls that people had heard loud bangs that were perceived as gunfire, and of course we sent resources, says Torbjörn Lindqvist.
At the scene, the police found traces of suspected gunfire on a house facade.
At seven in the morning, the area was still cordoned off and police technicians are on site.
– At the moment there is no suspect and we have not received information about personal injuries, says Torbjörn Lindqvist.
