The alarm came in at 20:45, after several callers heard shots being fired in the Ramels väg/Von Rosens väg area in Rosengård in Malmö.
– There is no information yet that anyone has been injured, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the police.
Large area cordoned off
The police have cordoned off a large area, and are waiting for technicians on site.
– We check vehicles and people moving around in the area, says Evelina Olsson.
– There are also staff at the hospitals in case an injured person goes to the hospital privately.
The area is also searched with police dogs. The case is now classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. No one has been arrested at this time.
