Several people have been detained after a suspected shooting at a hotel at Kungens kurva, southwest of Stockholm.
– There are many indications that shots have been fired. We have found a casing and witnesses have heard a bang. We have an ongoing operation and are still looking for perpetrators, says Per Fahlström at the police command center to TT.
No one is said to have been injured.
The alarm came at 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening.
– The alarm was raised from the hotel. We have cordoned off the area, but the hotel has not been evacuated, says Fahlström.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime has been launched.
According to Aftonbladet, there was a fire at the same hotel last Tuesday. One person was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation. A man in his 30s was detained at the time, suspected of aggravated arson and attempted murder.
