Now a man who is suspected of being the shooter has been arrested, according to Aftonbladet’s information. The man was arrested in the days before Christmas in Barcelona after being detained in his absence in Sweden.

The suspicions against the man are attempted murder, according to Aftonbladet’s information. Among other things, there must be technical evidence linking him to the shooting.

Flee the country by car

Another man was arrested in Barcelona together with the suspected shooter. According to the police’s suspicions, he should have helped the suspected shooter to flee Sweden a few days before the arrest, according to information given to Aftonbladet.

The men are said to have traveled through Europe together by car until the police “caught up” with them at a hotel in Barcelona.

Both men are linked to the gang environment in Södertälje.
