Suspected serious crime in Katrineholm

The police have been on site at an address in Katrineholm municipality since 5 p.m.

At 5 p.m., the police in Katrineholm were alerted to an address regarding a suspected serious crime.

According to information to Aftonbladet, the suspected crime scene should be at a colony area.

But exactly what happened is unclear and the police are tight-lipped about the case.

– We are in a sensitive and early stage of this case, but it is difficult for me to say what it will all end up in. We are working to secure any evidence and details, says Olle Älveroth, press spokesperson at Police Region East.

The police have cordoned off the suspected crime scene and are working with several units. You knock on doors and interrogate to gather as much information as possible.

– But we can’t go out with that much information because we don’t want to color possible witness information.

The police state that there should be no danger to the public.
