Police in Rwanda have arrested a suspected serial killer after the bodies of at least ten people were found buried in his plot.
The 34-year-old man is believed to have lured intended victims from bars in the capital, Kigali, and then murdered them. The police state that he has confessed to the murders, but that it has not yet been clarified what his motives were or how the victims were chosen.
According to a local newspaper, the bodies were found when the man had not paid rent and the landlord asked the police for help in evicting him.
The suspect is said to have lived in two houses, one for his family, and another where the crimes are said to have been committed. He is said to have been known to the police in the past, suspected of robbery and rape.
