According to the indictment, the man in Karlskrona allegedly stockpiled and spread hundreds of child pornographic films and images, of which roughly 150 are considered to depict children who have been exploited particularly ruthlessly.
Everything was revealed when the man’s IP address could be traced in a larger international pedophile mess.
When the police went through the man’s computer and phone, another discovery was made in a hidden folder – pictures of a naked girl.
The defendant had taken the photographs himself and depicted a neighbor in his teens.
– It was a situation in the moment, I don’t light on snooping on neighbors, he explains himself in questioning.
The man admits that he downloaded and distributed some of the videos, but says that he only forwarded material where the age of the girls was difficult to determine.
The Karlskrona resident is now charged with child pornography offences, serious child pornography offenses and offensive photography.
Trial is held at the end of March.
