Police were alerted on Thursday to an address in Enköping after information that a person in a nursing home had killed one of the staff.
The police found a dead woman indoors at the address and a man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. The man could then be transported to the police station.
The site has been cordoned off for a technical investigation and several preliminary investigation measures have been taken.
