The alarm was received by the police at half past four on Saturday afternoon. Ambulance and police were then called to the address in the Klockaretorpet district on the outskirts of Norrköping.
The police were able to confirm early on that a man was found dead in a residence at the address and that the crime classification is suspected murder, but the police do not want to give any further details about what happened.
Norrköping’s newspapers have spoken to Jennifer Karlsson who was walking her dog in the area when the extensive operation began.
– It was my mother who called and asked if I had seen all the police. But I didn’t have that, until I went around the corner, says Jennifer Karlsson to Norrköping’s newspapers.
The police do not yet want to comment on the age of the deceased man. His next of kin have been notified.
