A woman in her 60s was found dead in an apartment in Spånga in northwest Stockholm on Friday night. A woman of the same age has been arrested and detained on suspicion of murder.
– She was arrested in connection with the dead person being found and arrested on reasonable suspicion of murder, police spokeswoman Anna Westberg told TT.
Reasonable suspicion is the lower degree of suspicion.
According to SVT Stockholm, the dead woman will be autopsied on Monday and prosecutors will make a decision on whether the suspect woman should be requested to be detained.
