The woman was found seriously injured outdoors in a small green area near an apartment building in Sigtuna, north of Stockholm, on Sunday evening.
– We don’t know exactly what happened. We have found a seriously injured woman outside. She then dies on the spot, says Carina Skagerlind.
“Comprehensive police resource”
The police have cordoned off the scene and are working to map out what happened.
– We have of course blocked off and have an extensive police resource. We have knocked on doors and searched with dogs.
No one has been arrested in the case.
Relatives have been notified.
