Late yesterday, an injured man was found in central Domsjö. When the police patrol was sent to the scene, they were able to arrest a man who is now reasonably suspected of attempted murder. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
In connection with the arrest, the police also conducted interrogations with witnesses at the scene.
– The case has been handed over to the prosecutor and from the police’s side we continue with the crime scene investigation and questioning of witnesses, says the police’s preliminary investigation leader Petter Schröder.
The suspect has also been heard. The police do not want to go into what information he has provided.
The police announce on their website that the arrested man has been arrested by emergency prosecutors and that they are restrained with details in order to carry out as legally secure a preliminary investigation as possible.
