Suspected dangerous object in Tumba

Police are on the scene following an alarm about a suspected dangerous object outside the gate of an apartment building in Tumba, south of Stockholm.

– We send police patrols there who cannot dismiss this as harmless. For security reasons, we block off an area outside the gate, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the police.

The National Bomb Squad will now investigate the object.

It was at a quarter to six on Tuesday morning that a person alerted the police about the suspicious object.
