The police received an alarm about a suspected dangerous object near a parked car in Helsingborg.
Properties had to be evacuated within a radius of 100 metres.
The National Bomb Squad came to the scene to investigate the object and all entrances were blocked. Later in the evening, the outer barriers could be lifted and the residents could return to their homes.
The police’s classification is currently preparation for public-dangerous devastation.
The object is considered dangerous, according to the police. The location is secured and the car will be recovered for a closer technical examination. There are no suspects in the case.
