Parts of the police station in Södertälje have been evacuated after a suspected dangerous object was found there.
The National Bomb Squad and an ambulance are on their way to the scene. So far, it is unclear what type of object it is.
– The object has been found inside the police station, where you need to have permission to stay, says police spokesperson Towe Hägg.
The operation does not affect the police’s activities in Södertälje, the police state. The detention center is in another part of the police station and does not need to be evacuated.
