The boy suspected of attempted murder and aggravated rape of a child in Skellefteå has been moved to another part of the country. The police authority chose to release the information with the aim of ensuring security in the city, according to Lars Westermark, who is the local police area chief in Skellefteå.
– We know that there are many who are not comfortable with having their children out after this event.
Lars Westermark also points out that there are very strong opinions and upset opinions about the crime via social media and the media.
– In an event like this, one must always take into account that if there are upset feelings, it is of course a risk against a designated perpetrator, he says.
