A man in Sundbyberg, north of Stockholm, has been taken to hospital with what the police believe to be knife injuries. A suspected perpetrator has been arrested.
– We were called to an apartment in Sundbyberg at twenty past three this morning. There were several people in that apartment, one of whom had injuries that the police on the scene believe were caused by a knife, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The injured person is a man in his 20s. A suspected perpetrator, also in his 20s, has been arrested in a neighboring municipality. The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.
The injured man was first taken to hospital, he is described as being seriously but not life-threateningly injured.
