A man has been taken to hospital by ambulance after being exposed to, according to the police’s initial assessment, a suspected attempted murder in central Östersund.
Two people have been arrested, suspected of having something to do with the incident.
According to the police’s website, the alarm came just before 10pm on Saturday evening and involved an injured man outside at Rådhusgatan. The commanding officer of the police in Jämtland, Jessica Jonsson, could not give any information about the seriousness of the man’s injuries just before half past three on Sunday morning.
Three hours after the alarm, two people were arrested. The place where the man was blocked off for track protection. The police state that the criminal classification may change.
