Two people have been taken to hospital in Hedemora on Tuesday, after two suspected acts of violence. The police had a large operation in the city on Tuesday.
The first case is classified as a suspected attempted murder. The police were alerted at lunchtime and cordoned off an area in Myntparken and want tips from any witnesses.
– We cannot talk exactly about what has happened, but it is a person who has been taken to hospital. It is a serious violent crime, says Rasmus Eriksson at the police in the Bergslagen region, at 01:00 on Wednesday.
In the second case, according to the police, a person was abused by a member of society during Tuesday. It is unclear if the events are related.
– We don’t know that, we have to investigate that, right now they are only within the same locality, so to speak, but we don’t know much more than that at the moment, says Eriksson.
