Shortly after 02.30 the police were alerted about an injured man at an address outside Skurup. The man, who is in his 50s, received what the police describe as stab or cut injuries, and was taken to hospital by ambulance during the night.
Three people, two men and a woman between the ages of 35 and 50, have been arrested and the police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.
