The fire was extinguished and the emergency services remained at the scene for ventilation and follow-up.
– We are investigating the incident as suspected arson and the apartment is cordoned off for further investigation, says Fredrik Nilsson, commander at the police’s regional command center.
The alarm about the incident came to SOS at 22.18 in the evening and the man was arrested by the public prosecutor during the night towards Tuesday.
There is currently no further information on how the fire started. No one should be injured.
