The crime scene is an apartment on Hisingen and the police were alerted to the suspected crime on Saturday. – The police received information that relatives were worried about the plaintiff. This was discovered through detective work, says Anna Damberg, public prosecutor in Gothenburg. The police then raided an address and three women and two men were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping. At the same time, the victim was found – who, according to TV4 Nyheter’s information, was kept tied up. He is said to have been kidnapped for “several hours”, the prosecutor states. – The plaintiff is a man of adult age and has been in a residence, says Damberg. Denies crime The five suspects are aged 30-45. The prosecutor states that the kidnapping is not connected to gang crime. – These are people who are known to the police from before, both the plaintiff and the suspects, with possibly some exceptions for the suspects. All five were detained earlier this week by the Gothenburg District Court on probable cause, the higher degree of suspicion. – All deny crime. The prosecutor is otherwise reserved and does not want to comment further on the case. – I can’t say much at the moment.
