Montfoort – An Amsterdam resident suspected of trying to violently extort half a million euros from a business owner from Montfoort at the beginning of this year did not attend the hearing of his lawsuit in Utrecht today. According to his lawyer, the man is probably afraid for his safety after a co-suspect in the case was liquidated last summer.
