A person has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after what is believed to have been a shooting in Solna outside Stockholm.
The police write on their website that it all came to light after police officers in the area heard what they perceived as gunfire late on Monday evening. Calls about bangs also came in.
When the officers arrived at what is believed to have been the crime scene, in a residential area, they see two people. One of them has a weapon and he is arrested.
– No one is injured. One person has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, says police spokesperson Rebecca Landberg.
The site is cordoned off for technical examination. The police also knock on doors to get witness information.
Interrogations must also be held with the suspect and the man believed to have been the target.
