A 26-year-old man who is suspected of the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York was indicted on Tuesday night for, among other things, weapons offences.
The man was arrested at a fast food restaurant in Altoona, Pennsylvania on Monday.
According to court documents, the arrest occurred after an employee at the restaurant noticed he resembled the suspected shooter, of whom police released photos, and contacted police.
When one of the police officers who arrested him asked if he had recently been in New York, the 26-year-old reportedly “became silent and started shaking”.
In his backpack, among other things, a gun and a silencer were found.
