The suspect was caught red-handed by officers on the Drift. They saw that the person was writing texts with red paint on a university building. “The subject fled on foot, ignored orders to stop and was subsequently arrested,” police wrote. That happened on the Plompetorengracht. The suspect is currently still in custody in connection with the police investigation.
