Officers were driving on Te Veenweg Zuid in Eemnes on Monday evening around 8 p.m. when they saw a van on the side of the road with dozens of barrels next to it. Several people standing next to the van immediately fled when they saw the police. After a short search, during which a helicopter and a police dog were also deployed, the suspect, who has no fixed abode, could be arrested.
