Susanna Saapunki described that she had reached a “working victory” in the finals of the mountain running world cup.
Susanna Saapunki achieved good positions in the final event of the Mountain Running World Cup in Italy. Saapunki finished fourth in the 3.3 kilometer uphill run on Saturday and fifth in the 23 kilometer mountain run on Sunday.
In the final points of the World Cup, Saapunki finished fourth. Briton Scout Adkin was number one in the overall World Cup competition.
– Considering the situation, a successful finals weekend, although my goals for this season were not fully realized. I had to come to the final of the World Cup after a three-week period of illness. Compared to that, my weekend results are a work win and I am satisfied with that, Saapunki said in the Sports Association’s press release.
