Coreborn, the survival game from a German developer, recently left early access on Steam. For a short time, you can still get the game for under 10 euros.
What game is this about? Coreborne is a survival game based on the pen & paper system Ultracore and developed by ex-Rocket Bean Hauke Gerdes and a small team.
On June 19, 2024, the game left Early Access along with a major update. A trailer shows you some of the most important changes, such as a new area, more biomes, and more creatures.
How long does the offer last? You can currently get the game on Steam for 30% off. Instead of the full price, you currently only pay €9.79. However, the offer only runs until June 27, 2024.
You can also get the Coreborn Supporter Bundle on Steam for a total of 22% off. You currently pay €14.78 for the bundle. This bundle includes the game and a package with soundtracks, wallpapers, an official comic and the official tabletop adventure “Bandits of Pipers Whistle”.
What awaits you? In Coreborn, you play an inhabitant of the world of Tormantosa and join forces with other peoples to confront the alien villain Sorgoth. The goal is to reclaim the world piece by piece.
Coreborn relies heavily on multiplayer mechanics
The survival game also relies heavily on multiplayer mechanics. When you enter a game world, you are assigned to a “layer” that you then share with several other players. On this “layer” you can then build, craft and explore the various areas.
Coreborn is a survival game that, thanks to its easy mechanics, is also suitable for newcomers to the genre. The focus is on PvE and exploring the world. You can expect NPCs with stories about the world of Ultracore and co-op gameplay in which you build houses and villages together.
